Brief: File income taxes (filing the Statistics and Tax Returns). Does the thought of it make you freeze?

Many business owners in Cameroon feel overwhelmed when they think of what it takes to file income taxes at the end of the year. There’s a lot to put in place when filling your statistics and tax returns (STR) in Cameroon whose deadline for deposit is on March 15 every year.

It is well known that filing taxes is one of the most annoying and delicate activity with businesses. Unless you know how to go about the process, it is not only tedious, stressful but time-consuming to file income taxes.

Some of those in charge of accounts in businesses may not even know where to start from. Filling the STR may seem very difficult as many don’t know how to tackle it. The worse thing that will happen is for you to fill it wrongly and pay a higher tax or even get penalized for your ignorance.

Even though I encourage businesses to go for professionals in order to be very sure they are filing your taxes correctly, it is also very important to have a basic knowledge of the entire process. It is the reason we are organizing a training to help businesses and individuals (students, accountants, etc) know how to file income taxes at the end of the year.

This course has been designed to also help students and job seekers get employability skills in the fields of accounting, taxation, finance and so on. We will teach them basics on how to file and submit the annual statistics and tax return. You don’t need to have an accounting experience before enrolling for this training.
