MINEPAT Launches Business Partnership Platform to Connect Local and Foreign Enterprises

The Ministry of the Economy, Planning, and Regional Development (MINEPAT) has introduced a Business Partnership Platform aimed at helping local businesses establish international collaborations. This initiative comes as part of the government’s efforts to integrate Cameroonian enterprises into the global market and strengthen economic ties with foreign investors.

According to MINEPAT, the platform is designed to:

  • Identify the needs of foreign companies seeking local partners in Cameroon.
  • Provide local businesses with structured opportunities to connect with international firms.
  • Facilitate negotiations and partnerships that align with Cameroon’s economic development goals.

As part of this initiative, MINEPAT is conducting a data collection exercise from February 3 to 28, 2025, to gather information on local businesses interested in forming partnerships. The collected data will help define the profiles of foreign companies best suited for collaboration with Cameroonian enterprises.

How Businesses Can Participate

Local businesses are invited to fill out the Business Partnership Data Collection Form on the official MINEPAT website. The form requires companies to provide details on their activities, areas of interest for partnerships, and specific collaboration needs.
