Volunteer Training / Job: Creative Community Manager
Shara Coworking Space is looking for an ambitious person to join their team as a new Creative Community Manager.
The position of a Volunteer Creative Community Manager offers a unique opportunity for an ambitious and motivated individual to expand their portfolio by partnering with Shara Coworking Space to manage guests and the social networks remotely.
The position entails training you in building and proactively managing its social media community and guests who visit the Shara.
The position is for those who will wish to learn an extra skill – community management. In this case, advantage is given to volunteers who want to add community manager as a skill.
The position is particularly suited to candidates who want to build their careers in online marketing, social media, and digital communications.
Role Description
The Volunteer Creative Community Manager will be trained and has the responsibility of managing Shara’s online social community. You will provide essential support to the Communications and Administration Team at Shara. The successful candidate will be trained on how to create, conceive and present social media strategies covering Shara online platforms.
Duties and Responsibilities of a Creative Community Manager
- Will prepare and welcome new guests
- Will be the main contact point for guests
- Will develop and post content, create and manage social media campaigns for growth and engagement on various platforms.
- Will lead and develop community building activities
- Responsible for social media posts and interaction with online community members
- Monitor, measure and report back to the board on the success of community engagement
- Minimum commitment of 3 months
- Will have at least 20 hours a week for Shara and the rest for your own interests and projects
Competencies and Attributes
Essential
Must be at least an HND Graduate in any discipline
Must live around Bonaberi, Douala
Should be able to communicate in English and French (writing English is an added advantage
